Steven is a Partner in KPMG’s Financial Services audit practice with eighteen years of experience in public accounting. He has worked extensively with financial services clients, specializing in investment dealers, capital markets, asset management and banking. Prior to joining KPMG, he was employed with a large Canadian chartered bank for three years.

Steven is the national leader of KPMG’s investment dealer practice in Canada and is a member of the CIRO Broker-Dealer Panel Auditor Committee. Steven has served as the lead audit partner for a number of financial services companies, including the brokerage arm of two major banks and several other privately owned investment-dealers (both Canadian and U.S.). Steven is KPMG’s internal Canadian point of contact on matters relating to the audits of Canadian and U.S. registered investment-dealers and is an instructor of KPMG’s internal investment-dealer course targeted to senior and staff accountants working on the audits of investment-dealers.
