Community pharmacists are accessible immunizers who can contribute to increasing vaccination rates and decreasing the burden of vaccine-preventable diseases. This presentation was created to support pharmacists in building confidence with recommending and providing respiratory vaccines, including pneumococcal and RSV vaccines.  The speaker will review the burden of pneumococcal disease and RSV and the rationale for recommending vaccination to populations at risk.  A review of currently available vaccines will enable pharmacists to more confidently provide vaccination in the pharmacy setting.
