Travel Requirement

A flight will be booked for you if your store is more than a 3-hour drive from the conference location. You can request a hotel room for Thursday night if your store is more than 1 hour away from the conference location. All delegates are eligible for overnight accommodations on Friday night.

Travel to/from Edmonton and the conference will be via bus only. If you require bus transportation from Edmonton to Calgary, this option is available on the registration form. More detailed information regarding bus pick up time and location will be sent to you via email closer to the conference date.

Return transportation to the airport will be your own responsibility.

Approving your flight itinerary

Please choose between Option #1 or Option #2.

Option #1 Pre-selected flights from specific departure cities that have been agreed upon with the airlines and are listed in accordance with the conference start and finish dates and times. You will confirm and approve your pre-selected flights as you complete the online registration form.

Option #2 If you cannot find suitable flight arrangements in option #1, please complete the option #2 fields. Within 5 business days a proposed itinerary will be emailed to you from McTavish Travel for your review and approval. Please be advised the proposed itinerary is not a ticket and is not valid for air travel. You must approve the proposed itinerary via email to receive a ticket. Once McTavish receives your approval, your electronic ticket will be issued, and you will receive a copy of your electronic ticket via email from McTavish Travel. 

All travel documents will be sent to the primary email address provided during the registration process. (Kindly note that travel documents will NOT be sent to the pharmacy’s email) Check your spam and/or junk mail folders in case important travel documents from McTavish Travel have been routed there instead of your inbox. If you do not receive your flight confirmation, please contact McTavish Travel at 1-800-265-7113 or 905-827-1100.

Special Circumstances

Please note that flights are booked in accordance with the conference start and finish times. If you require alternate arrangements from the conference schedule, please indicate your preference when registering or in the special requests or comments box on the registration form.

Arriving at the Airport

Hotels may provide complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport. Upon arrival at the airport, you may use the courtesy phone to call the hotel and you will be advised of the pickup location. Estimated cab fare is $35.00 - $45.00 (one way). Cab fare can not be expensed back to the company.
